Directed by Fernando Meirelles, based on the book by José Saramago and co-written by Don McKellar for the screen play.
This movie is not for the faint of heart. It is gruesome but very very well made. As the little twists of story starts, it slowly captivates you and makes you left glued on to the screen. You get the feeling of it being too long but then again, the time you spend intimately with this movie is worth it. Scary, gruesome, realistic, and overall impact was superb. This movie will stay with me for a long time. I highly recommend this movie...
