Slumdog Millionaire: Review

Directed by: Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan (india)
Written by: Simon Beaufoy (screenplay) and Vikas Swarup (novel)

Pure is a rare word to use however this is one of the very few times that i actually want to use it. From start to finish this movie is able to grab your emotions and sympathy. It makes you laugh when it wants you to and is able to perectly tell a compelling story, and it tells it with such great execution. It simply captures you.

Starting from the chase in the slums of india to the ending, its smooth transitions and captivating style is facinatingly different yet still relatable :D

Breakfast with Scot: Review

Directed by Laurie Lynd and Written by Michael Downing (novel) and Sean Reycraft (writer).

i just finished watching Breakfast with Scot, a scot pictures production, which tells the story of two gay guy living a very "straight" life until there are punged into another world when a kid named Scot is taking into their arms.

the film is remarkably funny (something that i relly didnt expect) and the story was very good to say the least. Sure there are some scenes that felt a bit longer than necessary. And there you kind of wish the ending was grander but over all, it was really really nice.. i liked it enough to actually blog it and recommend it to all :D

i give this movie a 7.6/10 :D

The Valentino

We celebrated valentines day while watching Phantom on the lake and going out with some friends :D

Phantom on the Lake was pretty good. Its the first time we ever saw a stage play performed in the middle of a lake. Dazzling in some cases and well acted. Fireworks were placed in the stage itself which gave flare to the story's highlights like the grand ball and the ending. Overall, very nice.

After so, we headed to eat at a local good resto. It was a head on dinner, we were stuffed like chickens. Very good food :D Then Mocha and the gang contacted us to join them in their little group date. One of them actually flew from Cebu to Manila and drove to Baguio just to meet her love. Little by little, i understand the importance of Valentines. To a certain extent, i have much to learn, what can i say... its my very first valentines with someone special :D

HOPE YOU GUYS HAD A GREAT VALENTINES. WE DID. FROM NIGHT TILL MORNING :D

youda FARMER: Review

Graphics: 7/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Replayability: 3/10
Depth: 5/10
Length: 4/10

youda Farmer is an addictive game. Although the graphics and gameplay make this worth while to have a runthough, the length of the game is extremely short which makes you wish there was more to the game and story. You finish the game thinking that it was done before you were even scratching the surface but alas it really has ended. As addictive as it may be, there is no want for replayability because there is nothing more to uncover after you have finished the game. All in all, i give it a 5.5/10.

Quarantine: Review

I just got the oppportunity to watch a movie my sister has been hyping me about.

Quarantine is a movie which is somewhat like Cloverfield meets Dawn of the Dead. We found the movie very exhausting (which is a good thing). Sure there might be some bad ideas here and there but generally, it'll be easy to over look due to the fact that the movie was well worth it to watch... please note that me and my family watched this movie through our indoor movie theatre but i would guess the movie would be the same thing. This movie achieves its purpose.. entertaining and vey enjoyable. i just hoped the trailer didnt show that much though. never-the-less, the movie was rocking :D hihihi

How about you? What do you think about it?
